We come to you. We carry out all servicing and repairs at your home, storage yard or campsite across Greater Hobart. There is no need to tow your caravan anywhere.
Our annual caravan service covers brakes, bearings, suspension, hitches and key safety components to keep your van road-ready. Every service includes a detailed written inspection report so you know exactly what has been checked and what condition your van is in.
As a general rule, caravan brakes and bearings should be serviced every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometres or every 12 months, whichever comes first. If you notice vibration, grinding, uneven tyre wear or your van pulling to one side, get it checked sooner. We provide mobile brake and bearing servicing across Greater Hobart.
Yes. Caravan leak detection and water ingress testing is one of our key services. We use moisture meters and inspection equipment to identify hidden leaks before they cause serious structural damage. If you have soft walls, staining, mould or a musty smell in your van, contact us for an inspection.
Yes. We provide solar panel mounting, regulator installation, battery upgrades and DC-DC charging systems for caravans and trailers across Greater Hobart and Southern Tasmania. Whether you're setting up for weekend trips or extended off-grid travel, we can put together a system that suits your needs.
Yes. We carry out a full range of approved 12V caravan electrical work including battery systems, lighting, Anderson plugs, isolators and charging systems. Note that any 240V electrical work must legally be completed by a licensed electrician — we do not carry out 240V work.
Yes. A pre-purchase caravan inspection is one of the most important things you can do before buying a used caravan. We provide a comprehensive inspection and written condition report covering the structure, chassis, brakes, bearings, water systems, seals and more so you can buy with confidence.
Yes. We provide detailed inspection reports and repair assessments to assist with insurance claims and approvals across Tasmania.
Yes. We service and repair box trailers, plant trailers, boat trailers and camper trailers in addition to single-axle and double-axle caravans.
No. Gas repairs and modifications must legally be completed by a licensed gas fitter, and 240V electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician. We can safely remove and reinstall appliances where no gas alterations are needed, but we do not modify gas lines or carry out 240V work.
Yes. We carry out roof reseals, hatch repairs, seal replacements and water damage repairs to protect your van from the elements. Tasmania's weather can be tough on caravan seals, and catching these issues early saves significant repair costs down the line.
It can be. The combination of wet winters, coastal salt air and variable road conditions across the island means caravan seals, roofs and undercarriage components tend to wear faster than in drier climates. Regular servicing and annual inspections are particularly important for vans kept in Tasmania year-round.
Absolutely. Storage can be hard on caravans — tyres go flat, seals dry out, bearings can corrode and batteries discharge. If your van has been sitting for a while, a full inspection and service before your next trip is a smart move. We can come to your storage yard and get it back in shape on-site.
Tasmania's roads include everything from highway runs to tight mountain passes and unsealed tracks. Brakes, bearings, suspension and hitch condition all directly affect towing safety. An annual service is the best way to make sure your van is genuinely road-ready before you head off.
We discuss an estimated price before we come out so there are no surprises. Once the job is complete, we walk you through everything that was done, provide any inspection notes or recommendations, and process payment on-site before we leave.
Service times vary depending on the work required. A standard annual service typically takes a few hours. We will discuss the expected timeframe with you when we provide your upfront quote.
